County Mentor Workshop

This is a workshop, organised by county boards, to support County Mentors from underage up to senior level. Presentations are given on the rules and team building plus select 2 options from list below:

  • Planning – Season/Matchday
  • Communication/Decision Making
  • Nutrition and Hydration

Club Mentor’s Rules Refresher Workshop

A workshop to support Club Mentors from underage up to senior level. Covers areas such as the Injury Fund, from a mentors perspective, and a rules refresher. This has been hugely beneficial for mentors and they have found it very informative. This is organised through your county board.

TEACH Programme

This course is for school teachers interested in coaching Ladies Gaelic Football, through their PE classes or with school teams, and all participants will be awarded with our FUNdamentals coaching certificate. This is a key strategy outlined under the Coaching and Development area of the Association’s Strategic Plan is to increase the number of coach education courses and to train more coaches. This initiative aims to provide training and support to teachers, who impart valuable coaching services to many players.

If you would like more information on any of the above please contact:
