Terrific win for Meath Minors v Dublin LGFA minors in Dunganny this afternoon. Final score 2-13 to 2-9 to Meath which gets their Leinster Championship campaign off to a perfect start. Some fine football was played by both teams with the highlight being Orlaith Reilly's stunning strike for her 2nd goal after great team interplay and not forgetting goalkeeper Jessica O'Neills' double save to keep a certain goal out. It was a real squad performance with several players impressing when they came on. Round 2 takes place on 23rd March away to Laois with the venue to be confirmed. Well done to management and squad on a well deserved result.
