Meath Ladies County SDO are very excited to offer an opportunity for female coaches at all levels of experience to develop their skills and advance their coaching careers. Whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance your existing coaching knowledge, this program is designed to support and inspire you! .
Who is this for?
- Females who want to start their coaching journey
- Females who want to upskill
- Experienced female coaches looking to gain more skills and training
- Those interested in coaching underage, youth, or adult teams
Experience you will receive?
- Avail of coaching opportunities (online and in person)
- Avail of Practical experience (lead training sessions and games opportunities)
- Coaching Courses: Safeguarding, Coaching Teenage girls, Introduction to Gaelic Games, Level 1,Level 2.
- Player Development Programme. (PDP)
- Mentorship
- Access to online coaching material
- Prepared sessions

What’s involved?
By expressing your interest, you’ll be considered for upcoming coaching courses, mentorship programs, and development workshops designed to help you become a more confident and effective coach. Our goal is to provide training and development to women who are passionate about coaching and growing within the LGFA.

We are also looking for Clubs to provide payment for the courses. There are also grants available for clubs to apply for to get the money back.
