Leading The Way In 2026 Our Meath Ladies Senior Captains

Niamh Gallogly, or as she’s better known, Niamhy G, made her senior county debut with Meath in 2016. A proud member of Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels, Niamh turns 29 later this year and continues to go from strength to strength.
Having served as vice-captain in 2025, Niamh has deservedly been appointed captain of the Meath Senior Ladies Football team for 2026
a true reflection of her leadership, consistency, and commitment to the jersey.
Her list of achievements speaks for itself. Niamh was awarded a TG4 Ladies Football All-Star in 2025 following an outstanding season at half-forward, and she also claimed Player of the Month for July 2025. She is a two-time All-Ireland Senior Championship winner with Meath (2021 & 2022), alongside an Intermediate All-Ireland title and multiple National League titles.
What Niamh gives to her county, she replicates with her club. A standout performer for Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels, she played a pivotal role in their recent success, helping drive the club to an incredible three consecutive Senior Ladies Football Championship titles (three in a row).
A leader on and off the pitch, Niamh Gallogly continues to set the standard for both club and county.
Emma Duggan, is renowned for her outstanding performances with the Meath Ladies and her club St. Peter’s Dunboyne. She made her Meath senior county debut in 2019 and has been a pivotal figure ever since, playing a central role as Meath rose from Intermediate level to Senior All-Ireland champions.
Turning 24 this April, Emma’s list of career highlights continues to grow at an extraordinary pace. Her honours include an Intermediate All-Ireland medal, an incredible two All-Ireland Senior titles, and two TG4 Ladies Football All-Star awards in 2021 and 2022. She has also received multiple Player of the Year nominations, underlining her consistent excellence at the highest level.
Widely regarded as one of the most potent forwards in the game today, Emma Duggan combines pace, skill, and composure in front of goal. Congratulations to Emma on her appointment as Vice-Captain of the Meath Senior Ladies team ,a fitting recognition of her leadership, influence, and continued impact on the game. And one thing is certain she’s far from finished adding to an already remarkable collection of accolades.
Next up, we have our goalkeeper Robyn Murray, who is without doubt one of the standout keepers in the game today. Renowned for her pinpoint-accurate kickouts and exceptional shot-stopping ability, The 21 year old has been a key figure for her club Navan O’Mahonys in the Meath Senior Football Championship.
Robyn made her Meath Senior Ladies debut in 2023, and her impact at county level has been immediate. Her outstanding performances between the posts earned her widespread recognition, culminating in her first TG4 Ladies Football All-Star award in 2025, representing Meath LGFA. She was also shortlisted for the ZuCar Golden Glove Award, in recognition of her remarkable saves throughout the All-Ireland Championship.
Away from county football, Robyn has also excelled at third-level , featuring with DCU and playing a vital role in their O’Connor Cup success in 2025.
