As Round 2 of the Lidl National Football League gets underway in the historic town of Stamullen, Co. Meath, St Patrick’s GFC opens its gates to welcome the Meath Senior Ladies as they prepare to take on the 2025 All-Ireland champions.

Both sides come into this encounter on the back of opening-round defeats and will be eager to respond with strong performances and valuable league points. Dublin manager Paul Casey has openly described his selection as an experimental side, while a young, energetic Meath panel will be keen to make their mark and build momentum early in the league campaign, 

With plenty at stake for two recent All-Ireland finalists, all eyes will be on Stamullen. Let’s hope the rain stays away for what promises to be an exciting and competitive contest.
