Meath LGFA is delighted to announce the appointment of Wayne Freeman as Manager of the Meath Ladies Senior team. The Meath LGFA County Board ratified Freeman’s appointment at a meeting on Monday, October 13th 2025, marking the beginning of a three-year term. He steps into the role following the departure of Shane McCormack, who guided Meath to the 2025 All-Ireland Final. Congratulations to Skryne and St Colmcilles on their respective victories in the Kepak Intermediate Championship and Kepak Junior A Championship! On Friday night 26th September, St Colmcilles overcame a late surge from St Patricks to claim the Junior A Cup 2-10 to 3-03. The first of our finals weekends starts on Friday 26th September with the Kepak Junior A Championship Final between St Colmcille's and St Patrick's in Seneschalstown. Throw in is 7.30pm. I have made the tough decision to step away as manager of the Meath Senior Ladies. I am very proud to have been part of bringing this new group to the All-Ireland FinaI this year.
